Do you ever fear of losing your job and not having health insurance to get your medicine? |
This worries me a lot. I bet the withdrawals would be terrible. I feel so weird when I don't take my medicine. I am sure there are more important medicines than ones for depression, etc. However, I often fear that if I lose my job I would lose the ablility to see my doctors and counselors. What would a person do in this situation, especially if they could not find work easily? I don't have much money, but I do have a farm. I probably would not qualify for assistance and would lose it all. There might be regional or county programs you could go through. It depends on where you live. If you live in the US the have county programs depending on state. They are a hassle to work with though, lots of hoops to jump through. I am unsure about other countries, many have national health care systems. There are security nets such as the Employment Security Commission, COBRA and Medicaid so don't be too stressed. many pharmaceutical firms offer assistance.
