I am looking for family physician near Holmdel, NJ that accepts PPO health insurance?

Willing to travel to any near town Middletown, Hazlet, marlboro, redbank, etc

Your insurance provider should have a list of physicians that accept your policy.
The above answerer is right; you should be able to call your insurance company and ask them. They should also be able to send you a list of local doctors and medical facilities that participate in their program. Also, in a PPO, you generally get partial coverage even if you go outside of the network. You might have to do some extra paperwork on your own, but it might be worth it. Just call your PPO first and tell them what you鈥檙e doing. I鈥檇 call the doctor first, too and ask if the doctor鈥檚 office can help you fill out the claims forms.

You probably just have to look up your insurance company online to find nearby participating family parishioners. For example, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield (which offers plans in your area) gives you access to their physician directory online here: http://www.horizon-bcbsnj.com/ . Just click the 鈥淟ocate a Doctor or Dentist鈥?text. If you鈥檙e looking for a PPO that has family doctors near you (instead of the other way around), try MostChoice.com. It offers a quick, free, and simple way to get information on locally available health plans. More importantly it puts you in touch with state-licensed health insurance agents who provide a great view of the insurance market near you.

Hope this helps,

Look at your insurance card carefully. It should note what your PPO is. It could say "PHCS (Private HeathCare System)" or Healthlink, or Great West, or some other. The web addresses for these big companies are
www.PHCS.com
www.healthlink.com
www.greatwest.com
If you find another PPO name, just go to www.google.com and put in their name to get the web address.
Once you are on the web site, just follow the link to "Find a Provider" or some such term. It sounds complicated but it is not.
Best wishes.
