I'm 43 and trying to start a new career in selling health insurance whats the best way to build my business?

I'm 43 and trying to transition into a new career selling health insurance. I need some sound advice from someone who has been there, what's the best way to build my business on limited funds. Thanks for taking the time to help. Dave

Word of mouth is always the best business. Always ask for referrals from anyone you do business with and ask for referral from someone who says no. "I was unable to help you, do you know of someone who might need my services"?

Best of luck to you.
I'm an agent for Combined Insurance and I think it offers the best of both worlds, entrepreneurial and employment. It's 100% commissioned, so you are paid exactly what you are worth (just like owning your own business). But it also offers benefits, training, merit-based promotion, and the power of a Fortune 500 company backing the products. If you like, I could check into opportunities in your area.
