Why socialize healthcare in tht US, when the vast majority of Americans have health insurance? The idea of manifest destiny means you take care of yourself (in very laymens terms). In America one has the right, ability and responsability to take care of themselves, a program like this would just give more Americans a reason to be lazy and the ones already on every form of public assistance something else I have to ultimately pay for. 47 million Americans have no health insurance. Next question, please. That's exactly the point. Since most people already have it, it wouldn't be that hard to create a system that addressed those who don't have it and can't afford it. They don't. So every American will have health insurance. I don't know what you consider a vast majority. However, I consider your question vastly inaccurate. To help those that don't have healthcare. |
