Do politicians really think Americans don't know someone has to pay for Health Insurance coverage? They probably just think that If they can spew enough propaganda and supply the people with "bread and circuses", It won't matter, nobody will care any more....... at least nobody competent who cares is gonna get an interview. No, what the socialist liberals think is that if they take it out of your paycheck up front, you won't even notice it. They really think their constituents are kinda dumb and the memory of a gnat. Everyone complains about how expensive it would be to have universal health care. No, we don't want to spend a little money helping our own people to stay healthy. We'd rather spend billions and billions to kill people in far away lands. That's the American way. never mind the fact that almost every other first world nation had universal health care, and enjoys a much higher standard of living than us, the richest country in the world. The coverage that 95% of Americans have through their medical insurance is more expensive and inferior coverage compared to universal health care programs in countries like Canada and Sweden. So, you pay more, get less... and 40 million Americans have no insurance. Why not pay less, have better health care, and have all Americans covered? The only ones who benefit from the present health care system in America are the richest 5% of Americans, the medical industry, Pharmaceutical companies and the insurers. Just as one small example, check to see how much Americans pay for the exact same prescription medications that Canadians buy. You'll find that all the most popular medications sell for much more in the States than Canada. The Pharaceutical companies milk the American public. The USA is their own personal cash-cow. Why is it considered patriotic to get taken to the cleaners by the Pharmaceutical companies? Yes. & they are right about a lot of people. Remember, 1/2 of all people have below average intelligence. |
