Are there good online forums that discuss how to go about choosing individual health insurance? |

Generally, health plans differ based on: 鈥onthly price 鈥nnual deductible 鈥ccess to health care (specialists you can see or medical procedures you can have) 鈥inancial strength of the insurer These three variables are interconnected. The higher the monthly premium, the lower the annual deductible and the reverse is true. Having greater freedom in choosing where you want to receive medical treatment will cost more money, and plans from financially weaker health insurers might be less expensive but more risky. And, they know which companies are easy to work with, and which ones try to get out of paying your claims.
