What do foreign people should do when coming to live in u.s. with health insurance? Are you asking how to get health insurance? If so, before you come to the US you can get immigrant insurance from your country. This is a trusted company that we use (I work at an Insurance office). It's called 'Specialty Risk International'. Hope this helps! A lot of people in the United States don't have health insurance. If you do that's great. Find the local "Health Clinic" or "Free Clinic" if you are lucky and ask them about who they serve and about travelers insurance. Also try "Traveler's Aid Society" (?). Or the Consulate from your country. Try to get insurance that will cover hospital bills/ tests/x-rays since you can go to the local clinic for a lot of other things like routine visits.
