If the US government can spend billions in wars why can't it subsidize health insurance for US citizens? |
If the US government can spend billions in wars why can't it subsidize health insurance for US citizens? Because the republicans are in power right now and they favor wars with other countries above taking care of the country's own citizens. Because that isn't its job. Move to a socialist country if that's what you prefer. War is the ultimate health insurance. Look at the war now. By going after terrorists our chances of getting blown up like the 2,000 innocent people in the trade center is much less. Therefore, we stay healthy. Being blown up, shot, be-headed, etc. by some nut case terrorist is not healthy, so Bush has provided us all with the ultimate health insurance. Check out medicare, medicad, goverment programs Why should I pay your insurance our part of it. I didn't take you to raise because subsidizing health insurance is a joke and leads to higher prices and flase market equlilbrum. First EVERY AMERICAN IS INSURED...BY MEDICARE... THAT'S WHAT YOU PAY IN TAXES... sure its not the best and you have to be poor but it is better then nothing... Now is there better insurance, yes, but that is capitalism... If they want better insurance...GET A BETTER JOB... The money we are spending on wars is to give people the right to ask stupid questions and not be killed for it... were not quite there yet, but its coming along |
