Why is it that so many people have to die due to lack of health insurance? |
Why is it that so many people have to die due to lack of health insurance? Because the people on top only care about their bottom line - the profits they make - to make money. Because health care workers want to make good money and excellent benefits, so they charge an arm and a leg for their services, plus enough to pay the people above... - to make money. Medicine companies charge extra to pay their workers who create the medicines and another extra over that to pay the people above them (who run the show) - to make money. Never mistake people who run things for being humanitarian in their efforts. Not one government around the world, not one person who runs things at "the top" really "cares" about people - they care about money. That is their job! How else/why else would they dedicate themselves to making money in the first place. Remember - love does not make the world go 'round - money does! Once you understand that concept, life will be easier to swallow and you will understand how to deal with things better... or choose not to deal with them. By the way, insurance brokers and medicine is all sanctioned (laws put in place) by the government to "help" us... all these laws have done is created major money and business for those entities we now HAVE TO HAVE BY LAW! In their effort to protect us, they end up allowing more people to bilk us of our money. Example: making people have car insurance, now insurance rates are astronomical and now, rarely do people even want to report accidents because their RATES will rise! So, government intervention is rarely a good thing. They seem to be governed by the same laws as big business. The question is not about whether things should be free or privatized, or the government be Democratic or Republican - the question is when are people going to start caring about other human beings and not rape the public for health care costs (either privately or through taxes to pay for the "free" healthcare) and have fair prices that reflect the inflation rates of different areas... that's the money people can afford to pay in their own towns/states. Things do not reflect the wages we earn. Take for instance, Southern California real estate. It faaaaar outpaces the wages people earn. People, on average, earn about $30 to $40,000.00 per year... yet housing prices begin at $500,000.00 - half a million dollars! Do that math, regular people cannot afford those homes! Let alone health care. Did you know that healthcare is the leading cause for Bankruptcy ACROSS THE NATION! Wow! That is SCARY! Just some thoughts. because they live in a country like America. Because it is privatized... In countries like Canada, they don't have that problem. But in the USA, you have large companies (like Wal-Mart) that take advantage of poor workers and don't want to pay for good health benefits. That's where the government needs to step in and make people pay to keep their workers healthy. (this issue flips around between the Democrats and Republicans - right now the Dems are fighting for it) Also, there is no reason for Doctors and insurance salesmen to live in huge mansions on sprawling acres of Golf courses! They could live more moderately than what they do... it wouldn't kill them but it would save someone else the agony of dying painfully... or living half a life. I dunno but it sucks. Medicine is expensive. Somebody had to pay for it, or new medicines wouldn't continue to be made. In America, any politician who says "I want to raise taxes" isn't a politician for very long. Because the United States is a greedy country. Its all about oil and money. Sad isn't it?!?! Don't forget to VOTE so we can have a better future. Because they spend their money on beer and cigarettes, along with other needless stuff like sports related items. Why am I or anyone else in America responsible for you or your medical insurance??? If you all like the way Canada does it, than MOVE.....PLEASE!!! |
