They donate to help people that cannot afford the high cost of doctors, and medication. You'll have to research a little, but in the long run it will pay off.... Source(s): Work in medical field try an over the counter herbal medicine called St. Johns Wart make some phone calls to some doctor's and they can give you referrals to places who will help you free or on a sliding scale. Just get drunk. Its the same effect you would get from medication and you can even enjoy it and pretend to be a social drinker. Try smoking weed. You can grow it at home.. Check with your local social services agency. They are there to help with these kinds of things and for ppl with limited or no income and need of medical services with no way to pay. If you qualify they will set you up for services and cover the cost. There should be a local phone # in your phone directory for social services in your area. Hope this helps... Good luck to you!
