I was wanting to know does anyone know where i can find some low income health insurance.? If you live in the US, try cpntacting your state's welfare office. They offer medicaid, and you can get low-cost office visits and cheap prescription coverage. I live in Pennsylvania and work as a pharmacy technician. PA Access, the health insurance for low-income homes, provides free office visits and very low copays on medicine. Most of the time, at least here in PA, you can get medicine for free, and I've seen no higher than a $3 copay. Just beware that medicaid doesn't cover all medical treatments and medicine. Like I said contact your state's welfare office. They can give you some information. Canada. You can do much research online and gather information. Another thing to check out, your local health department does shots and exams for little cost! There are alot of walk in clinics that offer low cost healthcare plus like I suggested, many online options to explore. We get our kids exams and shots at the Health Dept. Low cost no big hassle. I would not recommend moving to a country like Canada for socialized medicine. Revenue Canada taxes their citizens heavely and although they brag about their healthcare, like Europe there are long waits for services. If Canada was so hot, then a great many of their RN's and such would stay there instead of coming to the evil ole USA to work! There's options for low cost healthcare you just gotta search and network. We do need a better option for US citizens though! Good Luck! |
