I may pregnant and i can't get a medical card and we can't afford health insurance what should i do? WIC, Medicaid etc.. this is what it was designed for... temporary, NEEDED help when it arises.... it takes a lot for people to swallow their pride and go ask for help, but guess what, you have a baby inside you and THAT is more important than any 'crap' procedures you need to endure to ensure you have a healthy baby! Remember to look around and realize that most are there for the same reason, and you won't feel so 'out of place'. It's ok to ask for help, and I encourage you to do so!! Grats on your new baby on the way, and may you and your partner be blessed with a healthy baby, and an 'easier' time of things! I am not a pro at this but if you are not to proud ask your local wic agency for help. Thay have lots of info for women. Hope this helps! Go with great speed to the nearest "Teaching" hospital. They do take in paitents for treatment without med cards. The ones here (D/FW) will treat for free if you do not mind a doctor teaching med students. Look into it! I helped a neighbor of mine. She has a great baby girl and helped 3 med students become great doctors! Go to your county health nurse. |
