Do Temporary Agencies pay well? Does anyone know of a good one to use and offers health insurance? It depends on your skills. Right now in my area temp hospitality workers (banquets, weddings, things like that) are making $12 an hour because they need people. I think if they had more available hands the pay would be less. Most don't pay for benefits, unfortunately, but call around and sign up with more than one agency. Good luck. Sorry, can't help you there. I've heard Staffmark and AppleOne temp agencies both offer benefits and temp positioning with the high chance of permanent employment after X amount of hours usually depending on the site. It also depends on what jobs are available in your area that take on temps. |
