Why do we have people in america that are straving and called the working poor and no health insurance? |
And yet we send millions of dollar to other countries , do you feel this is right? Because not enough citizens vote and the majority vote without doing much if any research. I am still recovering from the last election that re-elected a jerk for president. And this president & his party doesn't care about the poor, the sick or the struggling middle class, which is so typical of the republicans. These fuc*king elections are conducted like a popularity contest rather than on a person's creditably. We ALL need to be more proactive in running our government. I get so pissed off when people tell me that they didn't vote because they did not think that their vote mattered. I HAVE NEVER MISSED VOTING FOR ANYTHING SINCE I TURNED 21. Because so-called christian republicans only care about their rich friends. Working disabled Nam Veteran raising grandsons with no insurance. unfiortuantly these people who are POOR have either 2 choices, better themselves (there are many istitutions that will help and many scholarships and foundations that will help) but many do not want to because this would cause them to have to "change" their lifstyle and "fit" into someone elses mold, or choose to stay where they are at. I am not saying that to make ones self better is easy but it is available, in other counties many of these options are not available to the avaerage citizen. |
