Who do you turn to to help get over issues in one's life when you don't have money and health insurance? god and your church if your religious. friends, family. job and family services You turn to your state and federal government assistance programs (Medicaid, for example)...but you must qualify by income levels...apply at your county offices or talk to your doctor's office about where to go...you can look up state/county government telephone numbers in the phonebook! GOOD LUCK! medical/practice experience Church, school counselor, university medical programs, friends, parents, siblings. go to your hospital web site and research from there. if you can't find any, contact local therepists, and see if there is any free support group. if not, start your own by advertising in your newspaper personals. i'd also like to know this, particularly if anyone has a british standpoint on the subject... free councelling, analysis, support etc seems so hard to get hold of if youre an adult even here. would hate to be trying it in the states. |
