In Penn, does anyone know if the medical insurance , UPMC ( Former Best Health ) any good ? |
I CURRENTLY HAVE GATEWAY , ITS VERY SIMILAR ? THERE'S OTHER ONES LIKE UNISON ( MEDPLUS)? From what I can gather, Gateway and Unison are both government sponsored medical assistance program and UPMC is a private health plan. UPMC health plans were included in US News & World Report鈥檚 Best Health Plans issue, and the plans are from the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (hence the UPMC). These plans do appear to be highly rated, and the UPMC is a highly regarded medical facility 鈥?it was ranked 14th in the nation by US News & World Reports.
