Why didn't Jesus cure everyone of illness?Was it because their health insurance wouldn't pay for miracles? |
Or was it because they just didn't have any insurance?There were a lot more people that Jesus didn't cure then there were that he supposedly did and so it sounds more like the US health care system. http://www.theonion.com/content/opinion/... This is so funny - your question made me think of it. The miracles of Jesus were not primarily for the benefit of those who were healed. The miracles were primarily intended to bear witness to Jesus as messiah and to authenticate his teaching. No, I think the US health care system promotes illness and bad eating habits so the doctors and nurses can have job security. I disagree with horton. there is no jesus but we all have allah to protect us.allah just don want to cure that person to test wether the people remember allah or not and usually people with illness will pray to allah but i sure don believe in JESUS!!!!!!!! He cured many people. They had faith in Him, something which is lacking considerably in today's society. Today we'd rather go to the doctor or the hospital (not that there's anything wrong with that), than first take our needs to Christ, thus explaining the lack of faith. |
