Health Insurance in Canada? |
Till what age does a parent have to pay a childs insurance if the child works? In the eyes of provincial health care, a child is considered a dependent until he is 21 if he is working (at least, this is the case in Alberta and it is probably also true for other provinces - to be sure, do an internet search for your provincial health care provider). This means that if the parent(s) pays the family rate, the child is automatically covered.
