What is a good health insurance plan?

Neither my husband nor I have group insurance. We are currently paying over $700.00 a month for health care coverage. Do any of you know of a good plan for people who are self employed?

It depends on the state you live in. Every state has different carriers. The Blue Shield is the best in Cal. where we live. There are hundreds of companies are all in different states

Depending on your current age and health status - I might recommend a Health Savings Account (HSA) qualified plans. Most of the time, you can save approximately 40% in premium dollars, and then take the premium savings and fund it into the HSA so that you can pay for your qualified medical expenses tax free.
