How many people here without health insurance? 46 million hard working Americans. millions more inadequately covered. Thousands of people with insurance are bankrupted when they have an accident or illness. A recent study by the prestigious Institute of Medicine found that 18,000 Americans die every year because they don鈥檛 have health insurance Me, and I have the dignity not to request the government for one. http://yankeecommentary.blogspot.com/... I don't have private insurance because I opted out of the insurance my employer offered me. My children are covered under the United States socialized medicine program called Medicaid. And yes, I have a job and I pay a splatch-load of taxes. Beats me Not many. (on Yahoo) Yuppies have the biggest percentage of people without health insurance. Reason: they are young, healthy, and make lots of money. They'll get insurance when they get older. Most Democrats get FREE Health Care, thanks to us taxpayers. They either work for the Government, or are on Welfare. If you are here without health insurance... GO GET A JOB! |
