Volunteer/free healthcare for someone w/o insurance?

My Cousin has cancer pretty bad. He doesn't have medical insurance and isn't working right now. So he definitly cannot afford what they need to do to fix his tumors and/or chemo. Is there some volunteer doctor program or something that will help? Any advice @ all is appreciated.

Check with free clinics, university medical programs and your state dept of health and human services. He may qualify for Medicaid or perhaps even Social Security disability ( check with SS). Call the state dept of public health - they may be able to help.
Good luck!!
Can medicaid help? I'm sorry that is all I know of.
Go to your local health department, they may have a program that fits your cousins needs.
Most hospitals have some sort of free care fund. Usually the patient will have to fill out some sort of forms to establish need, and a social worker will help with that and be the patient advocate. Check with your local hospitals to see what you need to do.
