I've let my homeowner's insurance lapse, how do I reinstate it?

I've let my homeowner's insurance lapse, how do I reinstate it?

Since you said that you let it lapse, I assume you didn't pay the renewal premium. If your homeowners policy has been lasped for over 30 days it cannot be reinstated. You will need to contact your agent and have your policy rewritten.

Your agent should tell you if there is any premium due for extended coverage due to grace period. I doubt there will be for a homeowners policy. If there is it should be a very small amount of no more than 1/12 of the yearly premium. Source(s): See http://www.myinsuranceanswers.com...
You can reinstate it by , just going to the nearest realty center and getting it renewed
Call your agent or call the company and say the check must have gotten lost. I forget to pay my insurance from time to tome and this always worked for me.
1st-call agent if you have his #. Ask cost per yr!
2nd-Policy should have company 800 number. call & get info.
3rd-Company should have sent you renewal info. maybe time to
check other Property & Casualty agents or companies
for pricing. Ck deductable amounts too. Don't wait!
