Homeowners Insurance for a Doublewide Mobile Home?


I am in the process of buying a doublewide mobile home on 3.5 acres in the Tallahassee, Florida area and can't find any insurance companies that cover mobile homes. Does anyone know of any? Thanks in advance.
PS I called almost every insurance agent in the Yellow Pages.

I would say your best bet is to talk to the person/ bank that is putting together your financing. If they have ever financed a mobile home before they would mostlikely have a few insurance companies that work with them. Source(s): I am a real estate agent.
I have insurance on a double wide mobile home through State Farm in Texas with very good rates
