You should try an independent agency. That means they are not captive agents that can only write through one insurance carrier. Look in the yellow pages and look for insurance and look for one that says they are an independent agent. They may have upwards of 20 or more companies to quote you with to get you the best rate. BB&T Insurance is an independent agency, writing in Florida. Check out the link and call the Personal Insurance Sales Center or the agent in St. Petersburg or Tallahassee, if they are close to you.
