Will homeowners insurance cover medical bills for occupants?

Son ran over foot with lawnmower and had to have surgery.

HO Medical Payments (MedPay) Coverage will pay from medical bills of invited guests onto property whether there is liability on part of homeowner or not.

However, it will not pay for bills of those who nomrally reside at property including family members. It will not pay for those who were on property without reasonable belief they are entitled to do so.(thieves)

There are aways exceptions including swimming pools (attractive nuisance)

If there is laibility, HO liability coverage will pay for reasonable medical bills, lost income, consortium claims, etc.

Liability requires signature on release to conclude and MedPay normally pays without beneift if full release.
It might, probably would. You'd have to ask your agent. Also, if it does, you premium will probably go up!
You should check on that with your insurance company, years ago our tripped and fell off the neighbors deck and it paid for his broken foot.
It should, depends on what you have in terms of liability coverage.
fryguy is right I am an agent.
If your son lives with you then there won't be any medical coverage on your policy. Your regular medical insurance would cover that. Medical coverage on your homeowner's only covers other people.
