As it turns out the company that insured my first home didn't want the business. I called the company who had my car insurance and they said yes,if they could have my home insurance. I said yes. And thats how it went. Thanks, Joe

Why not check your own homeowners policy for your second home? There may be discounts if you insure with the same company.'

It's usually best to stick with the same company that writes your primary home. Some companies will not write a secondary home. You may have to look around. I would start with the company that insures your house right now.
