Should bank robbers be taxed on their income in South Africa? |
Well I see this is the highest drastical increase in our crime stats, and since the Safety and Security guy doesn't think any of the crimes will impact the 2010 soccer, well, why don't Thabo publish a law where bankrobbers must declaire their income and pay tax on it like the rest of us? **The H was reading Tax legislation last night ...... accountant bedtime story "How to avoid tax without really trying" According to the South African Income Tax Act, all income derived from criminal activities is already taxable and has been for some time. The problem would be in getting the ANC and their cronies to declare such income which in my belief would be rather considerable. The likes of Sexhwale, Ramaphosa and numerous others would be financially ruined. Here is the US, sometimes the only crime they can get big-time gangsters for is tax evasion. Your brain should pay a tax for functioning How can they tax their partners? Honour among theives is still strong in this country. Hehehe.......a good one. And allow them to bank their stolen money to earn interest, which they will later steal...... Ha! ha! ha! How about the people in high ranking positions in the parliament start to pay normal taxes, normal price for fuel and normal prices for cars etc |
