If I don't live in Canada, do I need to pay tax for income from Canada?

I have some rental properties under personal name. They are taken care by my property manager.
I plan to live in another country for a few years. I will continue to receive income from rental properties. But since I don't live in Canada at all, do I need to claim the income and pay the tax?

Trust the Canadian Revenue Agency to think of everything they can find under the sun to be liable for taxes. In your case, they have taxes for rental income for non-residents. Here's the link

Go ahead and have a good cry.
No way i dont think you need to pay for it I think that you should the people that are making you pay for them and tell them what you think.
I would assume so
If you earn money from any source in Canada, you must pay taxes on it regardless of where you are living. Check the Canada Revenue Agency's website at www.cra-arc.gc.ca
There is a section for international and non-resident taxes regarding personal and rental property in Canada. If you are Canadian and are just living abroad, that does not exempt you from paying taxes if you are deriving some form of income in Canada.
