Can you file Chapte 7 if you've never filed tax returns because of very low income

you can file chapter 7 but they will not protect you from back taxes plus penalties
How do you know you didn't owe any taxes if you didn't file - can't tell if you had taxable income without knowing more - w-2 wages, # of dependents, exemptions, tax withheld. If you truly did not owe any taxes, the question is irrelevant for bankruptcy considerations
