Not paying income taxes? |
There is no law in the world that says you HAVE to pay income taxes. A company paid 50,000 for someone to find the law and they didnt have to pay anybody anything because to this day noone can find a real law stating we have to. Title 26 of the U.S. Code is the codification of the Internal Revenue Code which says that there is an income tax. http://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/uscode... TITLE 26, Subtitle C, CHAPTER 24, 搂 3402 states "Except as otherwise provided in this section, every employer making payment of wages shall deduct and withhold upon such wages a tax determined in accordance with tables or computational procedures prescribed by the Secretary." http://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/uscode... Some professional scammers have made a big deal about offering a reward for someone who can show them their frivolous arguments aren't true. Why hasn鈥檛 anyone collected? Because they鈥檝e rigged the offer so that no one can ever collect. http://evans-legal.com/dan/tpfaq.html#re... BTW, if you have gotten some materials from a person named Bob Schulz or the "We the People Foundation" or "We the People Congress", I'm now letting you know that they have been barred from promoting these tax schemes. While they haven't posted the injunction on their website yet, it is public record. http://www.cheatingfrenzy.com/schulz30.p... I implore you not to fall victim to the tax protestor rhetoric. ALL tax protestors have ended up paying more in the long run than they would have if they had simply paid their taxes in the first place. Sure, every once in awhile, the IRS will lose a criminal case against a tax protestor, but the IRS almost ALWAYS wins the civil cases. Besides, an acquittal in a criminal case does not prove that their isn't a law concerning taxes anymore than O.J. Simpson's acquittal proves their isn't a law against murder of your ex-wife. I suggest you try not doing it and see what happens. You can't cite a single court decision that agrees with that logic or statement. You could call the IRS and find the answer and statute. OR, you could try not paying taxes and find out first hand. Uh huh. I was a supervisor, and an employee told me that he was not going to pay back taxes. He started getting only 20 dollars a week out of his pay check. He changed his tune pretty fast. 26USC (United States Code, part 26) is the United States Tax Code. It is a law of the United States, applicable to all citizens and residents of the United States. This is the law that stipulates who needs to pay taxes and how much they need to pay. It is VERY detailed. Article I, Section 2 of the US Constitution empowers the US Congress to collect "representative and direct" taxes. Amendment XVI clarifies this power: "The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several states, and without regard to any census or enumeration." I think this is a pretty clear mandate for Congress to collect, and for residents to pay, income taxes. Don't let the bunco artists fool you -- pay your taxes or the government WILL make a case against you. Your question does not make much sense. In the United States, for example, there are many different citations in law that provide the US Government to mandate and force its civilians to pay taxes. A few of these include the16th Amendment, Internal Revenue Code of 1986, or Article 1, Section 8, Clause 1 of the Constitution. According to section 7201 of the Internal Revenue Code (IRC), it is a federal crime for anyone to willfully attempt to evade or defeat the payment of federal income taxes. Tax evasion is a felony. So, I suggest that you not pay your taxes and see how long it takes for your government to locate you... Good luck. IRC |
