You can buy a tax program that can be installed into your computer and it will all be laid out there on what to do to file. Check Staples or some good book store. turbo tax.com or go to irs.gov and theyll help out with good sites. IRS.gov has a Free File Alliance that offers free tax preparation and e-filing. H & R Block and Turbo Tax are just two of the partners in the FFA. The services will not charge you to prepare/file your federal return but it'll cost extra to file your state. You have the option of only filing your federal. If it's available, go to your state's department of revenue and file your state return from there.
