I worked in Missouri last year for 3 months, can I get my income taxes returned to me? I live in Texas.?

I worked in St Louis, MO, for 3 months last year (2006), I was wondering am I eligible to get my state income (not federal) taxes returned to me, since I don't live there permanently. I was on a contractual three month assignment. My permanent home location is in Texas. Anyone know?

You'd still have to file state taxes with them to show the credit you should receive from paying estimated taxes last year.
Most states have a part time and/or nonresident tax form. Fill that one out and see what you get. I believe TX doesn't have income taxes, but if it does you have to report the income you earned in Missourit to them and possibly pay taxes on it if the tax rate is different.
