I've exercised non qualified Stock Options. How do I file on my 2006 income taxes?

What forms or which lines on 1040 do these show on?

Stock Sales (reported to you on a 1099-B) will be reported on Schedule D of the federal 1040. You will show when you purchased, when you sold, what you bought for, and proceeds. It's a tedious and convoluted form...but follow it carefully. You will be directed where to put your profit or loss onto the 1st page of the 1040.

Dividends received go on the Schedule B.
