Paying taxes for SS income?



I made less than $12,000 last year, all from Social Security. I'm single, and didn't have any taxes deducted. Do I owe anything to the IRS?

No. Without other income, Social Security benefits alone are not taxable.

you should have gooten a yearly statement from ssi I do not make over 12000 either and have no dependants and have never had to pay any income tax course i get no refund either:))
