Do I have to file federal or Missouri state taxes if I had zero income in '06?

Do I have to file federal or Missouri state taxes if I had zero income in '06?

No
The general rule is if you made under $5000 a year you do not have to file. Also if no one sent you a W-2 you are ok.
With zero income, there's nothing to file.
If you are over age 65 you can get a Mo refund up to $750 for rent or real estate taxes paid.
