What is the income level cutoff this year when you stop having to pay medicare taxes?

Simple answer there is no limit on Medicare taxes, only a limit on Social Security. Which is 94,200 for 2006.

There is no limit on Medicare. Of course, Medicare is 1.45%

The bigger of the tax is Social Security of 6.2% but the wage limit on that for 2006 is $94,200
