Can I do taxes if my incomes were less than 2000 dollars?

in the year of 2006 I did not work to much, so i would like to know if I can do taxes.

You may not have a requirement to file a tax return, but you may want to if you had federal tax withheld, to get a refund of the taxes that you did pay in.
I have not kept as up to date on tax laws the last few years as I did in the past, but the old (if not current) rule was that once you start filing tax returns, you must file every year whether you owe taxes or not. It is also in your best interest to file if you had any withholding taken out of your paychecks. You will most likely be able to get a refund.
That depends upon the source of your income.

If it's self-employment income you must file if it's over $400.00.

If you are a dependent of another tax payer you must file if you had wages over $5,150.

If you're not a dependent of another tax payer you must file if you have wages over $8,450.

Also, if you don't have to file based on your income but had any income tax withheld from the wages that you did receive you must file to get a refund of the tax that was withheld.
You can but you are not required to do your taxes. If I were you I would do them on the free tax websites that are listed on IRS.gov that way you don't have to pay anyone to do them and you will be able to get all of your money back
