What is the average annual students income, after tax? will i be able to pay my way through school?

my tuition is 4950pounds and i can pay this in two installments. as a working student, i want to know if it would be possible for me to pay my way through school

You do not pay tax on anything you earn under the first 拢5,035 but, as mentioned above, you do pay National Insurance.

Although it will depend on your skills, you are unlikely to find work flexible enough to accommodate studies that will pay much more than 拢6.50. With some very tennuous maths, this would mean you would have to work around 100 full (8 hour) days during the school year.

That, in itself, doens't sound too difficult. However, it assumes you own your own house and don't eat anything or do anything that costs money :) If you do have any additional costs you may well struggle to do it and still study at the same time.

It really depends on your situation, but perhaps you are eligible for a student loan? Maybe it would make more sense to work for a year first then study?
It would be difficult. The going rate for unskilled work in London is around 拢6/ hour. You would not pay tax, if you do not earn more than the basic free allowance, but you would have to pay National Insurance contributions.
