What do you think of Warren Buffet saying he only pays 17% Federal Income Tax when his workers pay about 33%? |
So many have told me on the Internet it is not true but here are the words of Warren Buffet. Another nail in the GOP coffin. Latest GOP news is Cheney bailing out this summer to be replaced by Rudy G. Excuse is heart operation. All Republicans can bail out and join the Green Party. www.gp.org - go here, sign in and register He did not say he pays a 17% Federal Income Tax rate. He said he pays a 17% Federal Tax rate. There is a difference. Most if his money is tied into investments which are not considered income. He lives off the interest and return rates of his many investments, not personal income from a job. In other words, there's no company giving him a paycheck, so no traditional income, no W2, so no income tax. He mostly pays the Capitol Gains tax which is capped at 15%. By the way, Warren Buffet is a bigtime Democrat contributer. So you people claiming that this is another Republican trying to dodge the system or not paying their fair share, welcome to reality. Nice to see you. Warren Buffet is not a republican. Also, maybe this will wake you people up. Every single time Democrats say they are going to stick it to the rich and make them pay their "fair share" of the taxes, they raise the Federal Income Tax rate. They never touch the Capital Gains Tax. Which means the truly wealthy in this country never see their taxes go up. And Democrats know it. Yes, you are all pawns in a liberal political game. And its your own fault for simply accepting what people tell you and not looking further, asking questions, seeking proof. Source(s): http://www.newsmeat.com/billionaire_poli... Just goes to show that the rich get richer and the poor have to pay for it! I have to say lets impose a flat tax. That way everyone would pay the same percentage of their income and you could not use deductions to not pay taxes. The result of a long-standing Republican aversion to supporting thier country financially. Why would all his workers be paying 33%? Is there some sort of article that domumented this? Pretty sad indeed. I have not seen this Cheney bailing out this summer? Do you have a link? |
