I have a job interview in 3 hours for an insurance company. I need to know what to respond to interviewer.? |
What would be the most effective way to answer to questions like: 1) Why should I hire you. 2) How do you manage multiple tasks/projects? 3) Where do you see yourself in 5 years? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!! Ah, Weasel give'em a break, they are just feeling a little unsure and needs some reassurance. Being yourself if key. Trying to be something/someone you are not will fowl you up every time. 1) I feel I will bring value to the position with my skills and experience. 2)Prioritize, noting deadlines or urgency of project 3) Working in a satisfying position utilizing my skills to their potential. Good Luck, I have an interview next week myself. I am contemplating similar questions. Are you serious? You might have better luck getting a job with 7-11. I can already see your unqualified for the insurance position. Good luck though. No offense, but if you cannot answer those questions, and you have an interview for such a job, you're really not that qualified. Sadly, interviews and knowing how to respond to those questions, are just parts of getting a job. These topics have also been talked about so much in society. Answering from the heart, as well as telling the truth, is the best thing to do. 1) I don't know you, so I don't know what your positive attributes are. You could say something like; I'm a hard worker, or, I have excellent people skills, or something of that nature, but you should end it with, " and I think I'll be a major asset to your company." 2)Once again, I don't know you, but the way that I would answer it is, "I prioritize my projects and make sure they get done by deadlines." 3)Make sure that you say something to the affect of being there in the 5 years. Say something like, "Now I'll be starting of in an entry position, however I would like to see myself in a position that entails more responsability and higher up on the ladder." I hope that helps, and good luck on the job. Another tip that people tend to forget, dress for the job. If you aren't sure about the attire, always dress for more. You have to answer these yourself. On the way there think of your five most positive traits and repeat them over and over until the interview starts. You must go in with confidence and then the rest will fall in place. Multiple task projects: Handle them well... I find a well orginzed office and knowing what my priorites helps me do this well. Think of what that company has to offer you in five years. (This question is not asked much anymore) The answers to these questions are not as important as how you deliever. They want to make sure you can have a conversation at ease and have a posititive attitude. Good Luck!!! |
