A family member is trying to fraud my deceased mothers insurance company.I am the beneficiary of her policies?



my mother just recently passed away and the family member who helped with the funeral is commiting fraud to get the rest of her insurance money from other policies of which I am the beneficiary. I have been told that I no longer am the beneficiary how does that work I am her only child. i need immediate help what should I do

You need to get a copy of her policy. You should be able to talk to the insurance company. They might not tell you much unless you have been to court and have a copy of the letters testamentary appointing you executrix of the estate, but they should have the information of who the policy belongs to. They will only pay to the beneficiary or to the estate. You might end up needing a lawyer.
Insurance fraud is illegal. Not only should you contact a lawer, but you should also contact your District Attorney's office and file a complaint.
Talk to a lawyer. No one can remove you as beneficiary except your mother. Sue the hell out of that person.
