Is car insurance in uk one big fraud ? Was your car insurer ok when u made a claim ? |
i know that the cheapest one is tesco, i know there is confused.com etc, but the cheapest is not the best, i need reliable insurer i read scary reviews on car insurers in uk(www.dooyoo.co.uk, www.ciao.co.uk) and am desperate e.g. tesco do not pay if u make a claim and accident was your fault and u have fully comprehensive - nonsense ? Yes, car insurance in the UK is one big fraud. Basically, it's a legal requirement to have insurance for personal injury to third parties. And it's only sane to have cover for damage to the property of third parties, in case you bang into somone's new Mercedes. But nothing else is worthwhile -- because nothing's more certain than that the insurance company will claw back in increased premiums in the future. And you won't escape by switching companies because the information on claimants is shared between them all. Unless you've got some exotic vehicle the best buy is Third Party, fire and theft. And no one company is best for everyone. the AA saved me 拢300 from Norwich Union's quote. Its only an extra 拢10 a year for me to leave it on the street, I don't pretend to have a garage any more. Hope that helps. I never crash so wouldn't know about claiming. |
