Why is it i can't find qualified people to work for me? i pay industry standards for wages, less insurance. |
seems like anymore, the people that come to me for a job are accidents waiting to happen. i have a small business, and i can't afford unnecessary expenses. by law, these people are supposed to be trained prior to applying for work. if the ones i have hired over the past year are the norm, then the government is failing in their job to provide trained employees as mandated by law. the jobs that i have are for truck drivers with experience. Wait... The law mandates that the goverment has to provide you with trained workers? The law mandates that the goverment has to provide training for people? What sort of neo-marxian shangrila are you living in dude? Not only is the goverment not required to provide training to people - the goverment is not required to provide you with applicants. They are PEOPLE. Not cogs to be supplied for your use. Maybe the reason you are having troubble with hiring is that you have a really crummy attitude towards your employees and no one wants to work for you? If you are having a lot of turn over - there is a reason why people don't want to work for you. Maybe the industry standard wages are so far below other industries that it is not worth getting the training and experiance you require for the wages you offer. There are LOTS of folks who are unemployed - and looking for a job. If you are having troubble getting help - there is a reason. I would recomend that you look at teh lowest common denominator - that is to say - what do all of your crummy employees have in common? try villages of Punjab.... you will find excellent people.... lol, dear friend, i think the people think your company is small and you cant provide them insurance, if you want to sovle this problem ,you should rasie their wages or give them other money support.meantime, you should find some young to work for you . maybe you are in Asiae country , so this question seems so obviuse ! of course, truck drivers are easy to hire! and have rich experience. If you don't pay enough wages then you will get people to work for you just until they can find a better paying job and you might get applicants who don't care to much about work and take whatever they can get just until they get tired of it. you might else try doing more than one interview before hiring, find out more about the person before you hire them. |
