If my husband is in the reserves are the kids and i able to get medical insurance? if he is on active duty, yes. if he is on inactive duty, probably not . . . check with the nearest military medical office. On active duty reserves you and your kids have full dependant coverage. Yes yes through the reserves Only if he goes on active duty. Last I heard they were opening tricare to all reservists and their family members for a minimal cost. Have you husband ask his NCOIC You should be able to. You need to check your paperwork and/or contact the benefits office. If you have a military ID, and are able to access the base and the Px, then you should have no problem getting insurance for the family especially if your husband has insurance. |
