Where can I find Major Medical Health Insurance?

Where can I find Major Medical Health Insurance?

You can check out esurance.com

Golden Rule and Humana have good individual plans.

Lastly, if you are in good health, young, nvr go to the dr. are just covering yourself (not a family) then you may want to try a Mini Med Plan it's bascially a plan that will cover a major medical issue and the costs are low.

However, with the above named two ins. carriers you can prob get a good plan for appx. 150.00 per month and will be vary depending on age, smkr, non-smkr, etc..
where do you live? you can search insurance on the Internet and lots of different companies will come up. I know for sure Aetna and Blue Cross sell individual medical policies good luck.
Go to www.wellsfargo.com and click on insurance. It will take you to another website. I think it's ehealthinsurance.com, but I'm not sure. You can see several options for major medical listed with varying premiums and deductibles. Of course, the higher your deductible, the lower your premium and v v.

If you just want insurance to cover you if you're in an accident or if you have to have major surgery, I would go for the lower premium and higher deductible. If you spend a lot of time at the doctor, or if you take several medications, I would go with the lower deductible and higher premium.
When most people use the term "Major Medical" in connection with health insurance, they mean the kind of health insurance that provides for doctors, hospitals, and prescription drugs. Broadly speaking, there are three kinds of Major Medical: group (at work), permanent, and short-term. Most employers who offer a group plan make a point of broadcasting the news to their employees. So, since you don't have that, I'm assuming you are not employed at a firm that offers it. If I am wrong and you do have that option, it is probably your best value - you will get the most for your money.
So, probably you need to choose between permanent health insurance (usually just called "health insurance") and short-term health insurance. Short-term insurance is good, robust coverage but it is usually less expensive because it is designed to expire in under a year. If you have retained good health, it can be rewritten. Here is a web site that explains the short-term very well and offers it for sale via Internet if you wish. It also offers permanent health insurance. http://www.wavehelp.com/
Best wishes.
