What are the Medical checks & lab. analysis requested from a Licensed pharmacist in CA, USA to apply for a vacancy in a pharmacy chain or to be enrolled in the insurance plan provided by the employer ? Are there a pre-employment screening for pharmacists by their medical conditions ? Mina- I think i answered this in the other question you asked concerning licensure. You will not be able to conceal a history of hepatitis C infection, NOR SHOULD YOU. You may need treatment, the disease is reportable and trackable under California law, and if it is discovered that you concealed your hepatitis status, youll be fired, lose your license and, in California, possibly sued. What you should do is simply answer every question you are asked honestly. You wont be denied employment if you dont pose a threat to other people. If you try to conceal it, you DO pose a threat, and the state will not be kind. |
