Medical Insurance in the U.S?

How much does the average American family, ( family of 4), pay for medical insurance? Just curious

If everyone is healthy and parents in the 30's with two little kids, between $600 a month and $800 a month. It goes up as the adults get older, and it's more expensive if there are health issues.

And employers usually pick up about half of it. Source(s): agent, 21+ years
i have absolutely no clue ...
