Was a loan officer in mortgage industry -now what jobs can I get?? |
I am no longer an LO since it doesnt provide a steady income. Any ideas on what I can do next with my knowledge of $$ and credit etc? I am not sure where to look? ANything in the real estate industry is going to be this way. I would suggest thaty you either look for a job as an escrow officer, or maybe something like a credit counselor or collector. Being a LO for a short time doesnt really help you with alot of experience for other things. If your old enough to get a job then you should already know what you can and cannot do if not then your not old enough to get a job you need to handle your business and i mean handle it fast. Try jobs in insurance, title insurance, banking obviously. Monster , Yahoo Hotjobs, Careerbuilder are some of the largest job boards, where you can apply for jobs and upload your resume. Since Craigslist, allows free job postings, many smaller companies post their vacancies on this online classifieds website. You can also search for jobs from multiple websites using aggregators like SimplyHired and Indeed. Referrals are also becoming a increasingly popular way to get hired.
