Are closing costs rolled in with the mortgage with a VA (veterans) loan? |
Are closing costs rolled in with the mortgage with a VA (veterans) loan? Yes but you must first qualify for a loan that you will be able to do this with. Also if it is possible sometimes the seller will cover closing costs if he/she is getting what they want for the house. www.va.gov -- all info is listed on this site. Depends what the terms of your loan are...typically you do not pay them because you pay the security fee for the VA. Try: www.military.com They can be. A VA no-no loan means the seller pays all the closing costs. Most sellers would want to be compensated for that in a little bit higher offer. So in that way it gets rolled into your mortgage. You also have a 2% fee to pay for a VA loan, that you can pay up front or have rolled into the loan. If it is your second or more VA loan, then the fee is 3%. |
