| *Loan,banking and credit>>>online banking |
I want to order something online, but I was told that I need to send in a Bank Statement. What exactly is that |
Im making an international order, so Im sure its different that the US. Also why do they need that? I wouldn't send anybody my financial information on line. Why don't you check into signing up for a paypal account. It's legit and takes the worry out of identity theft. don't order it once they have that they'll take your money... a bank statement is the checks that clear and the deposits you make what you get from the bank every month You may be falling victim of a scam. Don't do it and ask to send them a money order or travellers check instead. If they wont accept that, most likely a scam....run. Don't send anyone you don't know your bank account information. Its a scam. NEVER send anyone your banking information. Now, with that said depending on the amount of the order they might want a credit reference from your bank. Which would be a statement. It might be a simple language barrier. A letter of credit from your bank carries no personal information (ask your banker). But, still in this day and age...I would still be very leery about entering into this transaction. It is more than likely a scam. Russ |
